Fired up my first cuban today to celebrate my graduation from the Dale Carnegie course. It was a Cohiba Siglo 1 with an April 2004 box code. Pre light draw was very spicy. Intially the cigar was harsh but soon gave way to some better flavors, especially in the middle of the cigar once the burn started to cool down. I got the distinct feeling that these little guys need to rest a while longer since I didn't get all the traditional "Cohiba" flavors I'd heard described. Or perhaps my palate has not yet developed enough to totally enjoy it. Either way, I'm taking some to Hawaii when I go on vacation in a few weeks then the other will be able to rest and I'll give them another try in 2005.
