Silly question re: boxes in Vinotemp...

This seems like a really silly question, but in light of the fact that it won't be *the* silliest question on the first page in the Humidor forum for the time being, I figured I might as well ask away...

I'm getting my first Vinotemp set up and was wondering whether there is any issue or concern with using certain boxes featuring more paper wrapping the exterior of the box (cheaper Fuentes, NC Punches, etc.) as opposed to boxes that are composed solely of wood.

Specifically, I was wondering if the paper might be more absorbent than ideal and thus may wreak havoc on my humidity control, or whether it might have a lower "mold point" than cedar or whatever other types of wood are used for boxes.

Thanks in advance!

For what it's worth, the predominantly paper cigar boxes I've had in my cooler seem to allow the cigars inside to acclimate faster, but if left open they lose humidity quicker. The cedars acclimate slower, but hold humidity when left out for longer.

Once it stabilizes it won't matter and if you keep the vinotemp at the right temp and RH mold won't be an issue either.

I kept both dress boxes (with paper) and cabinets (without) in my Vinos for quite a while and never had a problem. Stack 'em up and let 'em age! ;)
