Wednesday night 10 Sept will be the last time anyone can smoke in a regular bar in Pennsylvania. For those of us in southern/central PA I say we meet at Cobblestones in York at 7PM (or earlier if you can make it) and go out in a haze of glory. Please post in this thread if you can make it.

wish I could make it wednesday but I am tied up. Curious as to why the last time you can smoke in a bar is 9/10? Seems like they normally enact legislation and the end or begining of the month.

It was set up too take effect 90 days after the legislation passed which happened on 6/11/08.

Another beating to the smokers. Laws are going down in smoke! We have a place in downtown manhattan me and The Ron and Fez show go to. A place called Florio's. You can smoke inside and eat as well. Only a few of it's kind left.

Dangit Ray....when I saw this I thought "hell, central Pa. can't be but a 4-5 hour drive for me" You are damn near in New Jersey!

Have fun and smoke one for me. My home state of Pa. is the last place I thought would ban smoking

From Warren, OH it is 6 hours to my house so the bar would be 5.5, I can put you up if you want to come out that badly
