I just got done with this Cigar and thought I would write my first review on it. This is the Sherpa Mystic it has a Dos Capas wrapper. African Cameroon and a Brazilian Maduro. The size is 6"X50. I won a 5er on C-Bid (evil) for $15.

I was interested in this gar because of the 2 wrappers. I like quirky smokes, looks or shapes, so this was right up my ally.

I have to say this was a very good cigar. It had a very interesting pre light smell. I clipped it and took a pull. It felt very loose to me but the cigar was not spongy it was firm so I torched it. I do not have an educated palette but I will try and describe the taste. At first it was very mild, I would say earthy. As I smoked it the flavor definitely changed I got hit with some spice, some nutty tones, and a weird undertone of Bacon (which I thought was weird but very enjoyable)Smoked it down to a nub. The cigar stayed solid and cool the whole way.

Ash color was bright white but only held on for about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.

Overall very good cigar. I recommend trying it. I will smoke again but I think it is more of a privet smoke so I can really concentrate on the taste changes.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. As I mature in my cigar life I hope my reviews will too.

This officially pops my cherry as far as reviews go. It should be all down hill from here.  :D

I thought them mild. I also got them for the wrapper appeal. Can't see going out of my way to get them again.

They did make a great gift for both of those reasons, however.

They are not very complex and are pretty mild. I smoke em when I'm at work or doing yard work. Something I can put down and not worry about finishing.

Great for taking on the golf course and handing out to the crowd that only smoke when they play golf and can't seem to buy one in advance. AKA mooches.

I passed out about 20 of them at the last Officer's Club party I went to. I was God for at least an hour. :p

Good cigar for the price

People think you're giving them an expensive smoke

I'm actually ready for another bundle

LMFAO, a crusty retired Master Sergeant being god for an hour at the O-club. Yeah, the E-3/O-3 and below would think you are god, the rest of us know better. We know you can only walk on water on even days, and talk to god on odd days. Bwahahaha.... :p No harm no foul....

What ever made you think I retired as an enlisted man? I only started there. Since you are below an O-3 yourself you'd be bowing too. :p

Funny thing is, as an E-6 that knows his cigars, I'd pull you to the side, call your bluff, and tell ya to gimme something good. That is if you pulled that in the E club or in a COnsolidated club. Would catch me in the O club. The only people in the O club that would want to hear what I have to say would be the Warrants.

No, I was a SgtMaj. A Sergeant as enlisted and a Major as an officer

Yeah, as part of my E-6 quals I learned I only have to say sir when they are pissed off or I want something. Otherwise I don't say anything unless asked. And if they are dumb enough to ask, they haven't been listening the whole time, therefore they are fair game and they get what they ask for. I 'spect it isn't too different behind closed doors in the Corp... They can only know so much coming out of the Academy.

True but the Corps get less then half of it's officers from the Acadamy. BTW, it is Corps with an "s" please.
