I finally got around to trying one of these after they've been sitting in my humi for a while, and I must say I loved it. It's one of the best stogies I've had. I'm going to hold off on a review until I have a couple more and wanted to know what you guys thought. I haven't seen any reviews on these. It was constructed well and had a sweet flavor for the first third before giving way to an earthy leathery taste. Has anybody else tried these, and if so, what did you think?

Which one was it? There is a corojo (red), maduro (blue), cameroon (yellow), and a sun grown (green). I have had all four. I like the corojo, though is was a bit harsh on the initial lighting. The maduro I did not like. They use a Mexican maduro that I think tastes like mud. I am not a fan of cameroons, so I thought that one tasted bland. The sun-grown was the best, IMHO. Flavorful, spicey...a good smoke.

I think he had the Corojo, as it is in the title for the thread. I'm curious about these as well, as I have a blue (maduro) and green (sungrown) awaiting the fire in my humi!

I have had a single green (sun-grown) and liked it a lot. I have 4 more waiting in the coolidor for a more detailed look.

Oooooppps. Somehow missed the word corojo in the title.

I have a 5 pack of the cameroons and sun growns in the coolidor. Now I can't wait to try the sun grown!

I know this review is really old, but I had a sungrown a few months ago, and it was REALLY bad. It tasted like a milkbone (and yes, I know what a milkbone tastes like!). I actually enjoyed smoking it because it was so bad. Maybe I just got a bad one.

I've smoked a few others since the first one (Corojo, Cameroon, and Sun Grown). I think they're hit and miss. I've had a couple that were pretty bad, some in the middle, and a couple that were good. I probably wouldn't buy them again. There are too many other cigars that are almost always great (Fuente SG's) that I'd rather have.

Edit: I also know what a milkbone tastes like and I certainly wouldn't want a cigar to taste like that.
