A Veterans Cigar Donations side box is traveling with this pass, contents will be sent to http://www.opfth.com/  for our troops serving in harm's way overseas.
I’m the only newby on the list, so if I can get this sent off without screwing it up, I’m thinking it is gonna be smooth and fun. Thanks to all who signed up for the pass for joining it. A huge thanks to Bsneed51 for all his input, comments, suggestions and tactfully nixing some of my weird ideas.
 
ISOM/ISOM, NC/NC. Keep your trades as close to equal as possible.Try to avoid overputs that will negatively affect the players later down the road in the pass. 
 
There have been several methods posted to this thread as to how calculations might be made. Let's all try to realize that the restriction of less than 50 RG makes it harder to match up so let's not set a specific limit, post your puts and takes out there as early as possible for discussion  to a decision that everyone is comfortable with.
 
Discussion of puts/takes is encouraged so that all players will broaden their knowledge.

....yeah, might want to solicit the help of an active, well known member to help with the pass.
 
Also, lots of Robusto's are 52 ring.  If you specifically want to exclude those, that's fine, but maybe it's something to consider.....
 
I've agreed to give him some advice if this pass gets off the ground.    I'm not planning to participate, only help keep an eye on things and make sure no issues come up.

FWIW - So far the questions he's asked, and the intentions behind seem honest, genuine, and well thought out.  
 
I know passes have become a secondary function of what this sight is about, and the dearth of passes that aren't invitation only for those that have been around for a long time hasn't allowed many newer members a chance to get their feet wet and find out if passes are for them or not.  Personally I've always enjoy passes, and the opportunity for building both trust and comradery.   I'm willing it help out in the hopes that myabe pass activity picks back up as we head into "pass season" this year. 
 
I'm in and Brent makes a good point passes have become scarce. I have been thinking about hosting a newbie/rookie pass.

I would enjoy being involved if I may. Since you want to keep this small in numbers, is there any chance you may have enough room in the packaging so that we can add a side pot for donations to a veteran? Overseas or at home? Not trying to complicate, but have been thinking about getting a group together to get something like this done. Just a thought, but I'm in regardless if you have space

While I want to leave this open for thought before making a final decision, initially I am thinking this will likely work.
 
It partly depends on the final decision of packaging for the pass, and how it would affect postal rates for the participants but may be doable.
 
The reason for keeping it small in numbers is to keep it from being drawn out over a long period.

I think a "side pot" for a veteran would be a great idea.  I wouldn't mind paying a few extra dollars for a larger box if it would benefit someone that puts their life on the line everyday to help keep us safe.

It appears that several members believe that is a good idea.
 
Let's make that a part of the pass. Probably won't add that much to the postage.

Sure, all members welcome.
 
Must meet the CigarPass requirement of 4 months activity, and would prefer all pass members to have two purchase/trade/Transactions successfully completed with other CP members. In the event that someone shows interest but does not meet the requirement of two transactions they can request to be a part of and will be considered. The absolute minimum requirement is the same as for a newbie pass, the CP criteria and one successful purchase/trade/ transaction with another CP member.
 
I think that everyone that has posted showing interest so far will readily meet those requirements.
