Seasonal Cigar specials?

This is my 2nd Christmas being a cigar smoker (and still a nOOb).

I've noticed (and heard) that cigar companies come out with their rare cigars (like A. Fuente) and their "Special Edition" sets.

Here's what I want to know...

What sets do you BOTLs wait for every year?
I know lots of people wait for the Anejo's (and I'm assuming the rare Hemingway Maduro's come out at this time too).

I just saw a special Humidor set from Cuesta Rey on www.cigar-ettecity.com.
Looks cool...you get 51 cigars in a special Humidor.

Any others to look out for?

Fuente has a Don Carlos sampler with 1 of each size they make (I think). I picked it up the other day for $80 or so. I think it's a nice set.

I *still* haven't found any anejo's out there locally except in the Fuente holiday gift set.

Currently this season I would look for:
-Fuente Anejo's (Shark, 48, 50)
-any Maduro Fuente Hemmingway or Opus X
-La Gloria Cubana Limitadas
-La Flor Dominicana Factory Press

I'll let you know if I think of any other holiday cigars this year. Good luck finding any of them, because they are rare and all good

They were both yummy sticks and my humidor looks so pretty with the Factory Presses. But the Tatuaje Cojonu 2003 sticks really make it look sharp. :love:

AS for X-mas cigars. I didnt know they put out special ones for X-mas till this year so I never expected something like this. Love to get a Maduro Opus X and Hemi. But any Anejo would rock but want the Shark so bad.

I picked up a couple of Fuente Anejos today. 9.25 for the small and 10.00 for the larger one. I'm not sure exactly what size they are, but I thought this was a fair price. They had some of the Hemingway Maduros as well, but they were 15.00. I thought about picking one up, but they are freaking huge, dont know when I would have time to smoke it.

That's all I look for at Christmas time. Now, I am stalking my local guy (2 calls a day) waiting for him to get his Anejos in. No limit, near MSRP. They shall be mine....

I haven't tried the La Gloria's or La Flor's yet.
Heard lots about the Tatuaje's also.

My local shop is gonna hate me now...I'm gonna bother them about Hemingway Maduros and 8-5-8 SGs. Opus X Maddies, huh? Didn't know they sell them in stores.

I would watch for the maduro hemmingways and anejos. They are rare, and are pretty much only available this time of year.

Hemy Maduros and Anejos come out around this time of year. Here in Florida there is no tobacco tax so the prices are reasonable. I bought 6 of the Don Carlos samplers ( the Don Carlos Lancero is the catch) and paid 90 bucks for each.

Those samplers are $115 here, but I got the hemmingway maduros for $7.50 each!

...and they are. Persistence paid off this time. Maduro Hemingways too. My search for Fuente holiday releases has come to an end unless I can find some King B's.
