The herf came off without a hitch. Thanks to Claude (my neighbor) Bremwister, Cigardawg, rob300c and Tone-NY for making the trip down. Luckily nobody was sober enough to take pics so there is no incriminating evidence. :laugh:

I'd like to say thanks for the bottle and the smokes that were given me, l appreciate it greatly.

After many hours on the road again I am still feeling the cumulative effects of the herf on top of driving. Needless to say I will sleep like a baby tonight!
It was great meeting Ray, Tim and Scott. And it is always a pleasure to herf with Anthony!
The scotch flowed and the cigars smoked. The shit was shot and poker was played!
It was a most excellent time!

Nice to see I didn't get anyone killed on the way home but Cigardawg hasn't checked in yet. He had some serious driving to do and may just be sleeping it off.

Hello all,

Just wanted to express my sincere thanks to our hosts Mr. & Mrs. AVB for all the hospitality and a fantastic day. It was great to finally meet Tone-NY and Rob300C, a couple fine BOTL. And its always great to get together with Cigardawg and to meet AVB's poker playin' neighbor Claude. Although the cards certainly didn't do me any favors, the fellow attendees were far more generous. Smoked some great smokes, drank some great Scotch and Bourbon, and enjoyed a fantastic spread of good eats! Who could ask for anything more? Thanks again all for a great HERF.

I made it. Rolled in after 9 last night.

Saturday was a great time. Great cigars, great whiskies/rums,...even better companions. My poker playing skills left something to be desired, but hell, not everything can go right all the time. AVB and Tim, it was great seeing you again. Anthony and Rob, wonderful meeting you. I hope to herf with all of you again soon.

Well I just want to say that AVB is a most generous host. He and his wife hosted a great Scotch Herf. The food, drink and company was top notch. It was great meeting Scott and Tim thanks to those two for their generosity as well as my traveling pal Rob!
