The Lag is a fuller flavor compared to the Frog but they both have their place in a well stocked cabinet. The Frog 18 is very smooth and not as "in your face" while still having all the classic froggy characteristics. If I had to only choose one it'd be the Lag though but luckily I have both

I have nothing to add to what Ray said other than you should buy a bottle of the Laphroiag 18. My bottle is 2/3 gone and I have every intention of buying another one soon.
