I see the Xtend gas , I'm getting a Lighter in that Needs the GOLD/YELLOW Gas ( S.T.DuPont Shaman L2)... Does the Xtend gas cover the DuPont Colors?.... Need Help quick on this one, as I can't use the lighter if I cant get gas?.. Lighter should be here Monday, and I'm like a little Kid on Christmas Morning, so I saw a Adapter on eBay also?... HELP ASAP!.. PLEASE!!....

It's not the same thing. Dupont fuel is set for their specific lines of lighters. We carry the different color cansters of fuel. It cost about $6 for each refil! So, the lighter is real!

Thanks Smokey, Can you drop a Link or something, as I'm going to need some I guess.. I found an adapter on eBay for the Lighters also, Any Clues on it or it's use?.. Send me some info on who "WE" are so I might order a few..
THANKS!...

I have used Blazer fuel in my DuPonts for years. They come with a bunch of different attachments and one of them works fine. No need to ever buy those rip off Dupont refills.

Thanks for the tip as I been using those refills for a while now & they sem to run out faster then a cigar. :D I also purchased a adapter of EBay but didn't find the fuel getting tranfered as efficiently as with the OEM gas.

If the fuel gets in the lighter, it doesn't matter if it does it efficiently. No big deal if you waste some fluid from one of those big cans. I would also try Lava Fuel and see if any of their attachments work.

Many Thanks To ALL!... I got some Gas coming from "Da Cigar Place" and I'll see if the EX-Tend has the right Atachment.. I did order the eBay adapter also. On top, I got 10 Fuels comming in with the Lighter, so I know to start I can use it.. Might be a good thing for travel, take a small tube or two along?.. Small and easy?.. Just a thought!
HEY, THANKS AGAIN!.. You here have been tons of help!
( Shit, Now I'm going to like this group, and start reading more)....

I tried Extend fluid on all of my Duponts and it never worked, except of course for the Extend lighters I have.

Keep in mind if you're flying that you are no longer allowed to travel with any type of lighters. This includes checked baggages, which are now regularly checked. If they find one, they toss it. Just as a point of reference, i find that my checked bags are now hand checked at least 50% of the time.

Thanks didn't know that. I was a bit scared at screwing up the internals after the "affectionate" sales pitch by the Dupoint rep ;) You understand why as I really cherish my ISOM inspired baby

I will try and report accordingly, thanks for the advice.

I have had numerous tobacconists tell me I'll screw up the seals if I don't use those little DuPont refills. They are all full of it. I have been using the Blazer in all 5 of my Duponts for well over 5 years and never had a problem.

If I remember right, a friend of mine uses Colibri fuel in his Dupont. I know he has used Cheap fuel and it burns through it like it was nothing. You know who I mean Smokyballs. Tony...But since he has been back in KC, I have no idea what he is using now.

You'd think after ALL this, I'd just buy a BIC lighter and say QUIT...
Once you know me some, You'll figure it out, I DON'T QUIT!.. I'm going to get this lighteer and get it working right and end up with a NICE Piece of "ART" to have and use.. But I DO say Thanks!.. I think it will be here Tuesday, Maybe sooner?.. But the One I have in here I thought might be a "Replica" I now see on the French DuPont Site as a NEW Model in Linge2.. So, I may have to part with this one? I'm not collecting, just using, and the "SHAMAN" is loud and obnoxious enough for me..But THANKS!... I Do Appriciate the help of the NEW Guy thing, Even if I feel like a FOG...
