We just got these in at the store, and I saw where cA gave them an 89 in a recent issue, so I thought I'd give one a try.
The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the tube was a gorgeous wrapper (Connecticut Shade I'm pretty sure). Smooth, silky, not veiny at all. It was a little stubborn during lighting, requiring several passes of the torch before I finally got all of it lit. Also, I struggled with an uneven burn for the first part of it, although I partly attributed that to my lighting difficulties. Around 1/3 of the way into it, this cigar came around beautifully. The burn evened out perfectly, and it had a nice easy draw to it. I found it to be a smooth, woody smoke. The nicotine buzz caught me by surprise as did not think it to be a particularly strong smoke, and also as it didn't hit me until I stood up. It wasn't a big cigar (44 x 5 1/2), but I smoked it for the better part of an hour.
I guess cA was right on with an 89 rating. If it wasn't for the initial burn problems, I'd have given it a 90
