OK, with the RTDA just a few days away, I'd like to do a comparison of the releases. The RTDA last year had some pretty good releases, such as the RP Edge, Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte, CAO Italia, Don Lino Africa, and a myriad of others.

First, I'd like to know what you think the best cigar released over the last year was (no fair picking the Padron 40th Anni.).

Second, I'd like to know what cigar you are most highly anticipating.

I didn't smoke too much during RTDA last year, but I know the Ashton ESG will be a top for most

I have serious doubts about the ESG being released at the RTDA show. The literature that I have read is that it will be "introduced" at he show (meaning that a very few cigar will be handed out to some) and released "in time for the holidays." To me, that means just before Xmas. I don't think we'll see ESG on the shelves until late Nov or early Dec. I could be wrong, but just a prediction.

From last year, I'll say either the Italia or Africa. Although the SP Extra Fuerte is a great bargain smoke!

This year I look forward to Oliva Master Blend II and the new CAO's (Sopranos and Novella).
