I had my very first RP ever and its the 1992 robusto.
Visual impression: Nice looking cigar with dark brown wrapper. a hard spongy feel when squeezed. I know, it's oxymoronic.
Pre-light draw: nice and smooth with a toasty wood taste.
Smoking experience:toasted the foot without any hassle. The first few puffs released a chocolate, not cocoa but a heavy chocolate flavor mixed with a toasted cedar??? taste. The finish was a slight peppery, waking my tongue up every time. These stayed through out the smoke. The ash was nice and packed that is layered white. The smoke itself was very white and thick. The only thing I was expecting that did not happen was a creamy taste with all that smoke. Overall, I enjoyed this and put me in a very relax mood after a hard days work I know that there are botls out there that favor the 1990's and some even hate the 1992's but since this is my very first RP and have not tasted the 1990, I must say I like the 92s.
Burn Time: a little over 1 hour
edited for grammar.
