Well, I tried one before and found it too spicy and not pleasing to my palate and it happened again. The construction is great, esp. considered it’s an unbanded 2nd from Rocky Patel. The draw was excellent, and the smell was good. However, upon lighting it, it had a taste that was too spicy for me, and the flavor just didn’t do it for me. I’d take a RP 1990 any day of the week, but would pass on a 1992. I’d be happy to trade the remaining 4 to someone for something else to try. PM me if interested.

I haven't tried the '92s, but I'm really liking the '90s. I think they're a helluva deal. Mine needed alittle time in the humidor, though. They seemed damned dry when I first got them.

I really like the 90's as well. I'm supprised at my reaction to the 92's but I'd had a few of them and its the same reaction everytime. Ehh, i guess its not for everyone. I did have them in the humi for a little bit, and the stick wasnt harsh like it would it was burning hot, or dry. Do love those 90's though.

I never had a spicey vintage...90' or 92'.
The 92' is bit milder and definately smoother tasteing with the sumatra wrapper.

Next time....as with most cheap cigars and maduros in general, rest them for a few months, you will love them.
