I spent Saturday working on the lawn and then my truck. Finally finished at around 8pm and sat down for a cigar and a beer. Felt like the first time I sat down all day. I had rummaged thru my humidor and decided on a Romeo y Julieta PC. I love these little cigars. A storm was rolling in when I sat down to light up, a brief shower with some lightning. It made a very nice backdrop to a good cigar.
This is my first review and I am not very good at picking out flavors, but here goes:
Romeo y Julieta (isom) - Petite Corona
Wrapper: Redish brown just a few light vains.
Construction: Good, firm, but not too hard
Burn: perfect.
Problems: none
Ash: salt & pepper, about 2” long before falling off
Draw: slight firmness...
Smoke: Lots of smoke
Pre-light Aroma: Sweet smelling tobacco
Strength: Mild to Medium
Taste: wonderful tasting cigar. Spicy and sweet, hints of cinnamon
Smoked to: the nub
Overall impression: Very good cigar, a great 45 min smoke.
