First off, sorry for not having any pic's. But wanted to give a heads up on a little talked about cigar. The cigar I smoked tonight is from a box dated jun. 04 and I've had it since Aug. of 06'.

The exhibicion #4 measures 4.95x48 and is called a hermoso. It has a medium tan color with few veins and looks to be well constructed. The cigar has no hard or soft spots and after clipping the cap with a double blade cutter the cap pops off cleanly. The tip has just the right amount of give. As I toast the foot the cigar lights easily. The initital draw was plentiful with a light to medium body that had a sweet character with a spicy background. The sweetness subsided after the first puff and the spice increased with a background flavor that I can't describe. The flavor is close to full now. After the 1/4 inch mark the cigar went back to medium and the spice subsided and blended well with the background flavor that I mentioned before. At this point none of the flavors stand out over the other but are equal. As I continue to smoke the spice and strength goes back and forth, up and down. But stays smooth with no trace of harshness. Past the last 1/4 the cigar is still smooth with a medium body and moderate spice. At this point there are no signs that the cigar is ready to be put to rest. I smoked this one down to the last inch and it still was not hot or harsh. I definitely give this hermoso an A. Well constructed with good strength and smooth character.
