Rod: Ignore option?

Hi Rod,

I was playing around with the CP "ignore" feature and I notice when you place someone on ignore it gives you a message in threads saying something like :

You have chosen to ignore all posts from: <postername>

Is there any way to get CP to not display the ignored user's posts in the thread at all? (i.e. do not display the message 'you have chosen to ignore') Is this a possible update in the future?

When you have someone on ignore, you won't see anything they type.

You are correct, I don't see anything they type, but I DO see that they have replied in a thread and it leaves me a message saying I have chosen to ignore their posts. I want to know if it's able to TOTALLY remove that ignored users posts from the thread so I don't even see that reply.


P.S. since I have you on ignore I had to open up your reply to see if you had anything worthwhile to say... :sign:

It's built into the board to work this way. Not a whole lot I can do about how the ignore feature works.

This would have to be something that the creators of the BB software implemented. Rod is unlikely to modify the BB software himself; it makes updating to newer official release versions a bitch.
