Today was the day I recieved a box of assorted cigars from someone on sf (trade). anyway he sent me a R.P. vintage 1990 cigar with a whole lot of other's. This was my first 1990, I've heard pretty good reviews on it. So around 2 in the morning I took it out of my humidor, clipped it and then took it out on the front porch to enjoy the night and some music on my ipod. Apon clipping it I thought it kind of smelled like chocalate, I was looking so forward to it just from the smell alone. At first light I couldn't really detect any sort of taste, except for pretty good tobacco which is ok, but nothing interesting. For the most part this was all I detected, sometimes I got a Leather taste which I do not really like. The smoke was pretty creamy which I would say is the best part of this cigar, no harshness at all. I just wished the flavor would've been more interesting. In it gave me an uneven burn which just annoys me so much. If I bought this online or at a B&M my guess would be that it would cost around seven dollars. I cannot reccomend this cigar for the price. 2.5 stars out of 5
Good- creamy smoke, enjoyed the smell, construction I thought was nice
Bad- Leather taste which I dont like, a lttle one dimensional, Price (if i had bought it)
