I recently had a Rocky Patel 15th anniversary toro and loved it. in the past few months i have had some good cigars including notables like the my father belicosto #2 and the Ashtion VSG eclipse however the RP 15th reall takes the cake here. it was phenomenal and here is my review of it.
first off it was perfectly wrapped maybe a little on the tight side but i am ok with that. Nice dark wrapper with a somewhat sweet smell to it. right off the bat it lit pretty well and as i was smoking had great draw never had to really make a big effort. Had to re light it a few time but that was probably my fault because i was talking with my friend too much and not puffing enough. all in a good structure and didn't come apart at all and retained a good figure and draw throughout the smoke. Now onto the flavor.
Rocky described it as the decade on steroids which is i pretty accurate description of it. In the beginning the cigar is a little harsh but that dissipates pretty quickly. First you get the taste of pepper then after about an inch into it sort of a cinnamon taste. after about an inch a mint taste comes in and you get two tastes at the same time. After 3/5 of the cigar the cinnamon taste goes away leaving the mint. Then in the end there is a very creamy taste that is extremely smooth.
