So i have 2 lbs 65% heartfelt on beads in my vino. i have them at about 60-70% clear, the rest white. I have 3 meters in there all calibrated within the last week and they all are telling me the humidity is 71-72%. what am i doing wrong.

edit: its a 28ct vino

I had the same problem when I started mine about 3 months ago. I had to let all my beads dry out ( can do it with a hair dryer, becareful, use low setting) and now I only keep about 25% wet.

Same here.My beads are almost all dryI have about 10 boxes and 1 singles tray in there and it stays solid at 66%

Is your vino almost empty? With too much open air it's really difficult to control the RH. And yes, drying your beads is a good start.

If it is mostly empty, pick up a bunch of empty cedar cigar boxes from your B&M and stick those in there, they can help to regulate it.

I only have 1 lb. of beads in mine and I keep 50% wet or less... and I get a range of 65% to 70% depending on which part of the fridge we're talking about.
