RH Dropping

So I have never had a humidor as large as I have now, but the RH is dropping with the cold weather. I have a large tower humidor. Is this normal ? What do I need to do to help. I'm running a cigar oasis magna 3.0 with extra fans in the top and middle.

Cabinets and humidors most certainly can go through 'seasonal mood disorder' (thanks for that one, Anthony...). Our heat goes off / down to 60f at night, and as the house temp drops, the humidity in the cabinet drops, and may cause the humidifiers to kick on. Then, when the house warms up, the RH can be on the high side. After a few decades of playing this game, I've come to the conclusion......it almost doesn't matter. I watch the RH during the day, and adjust the humidifier appropriately, so that things don't get too wet. My cabinet runs very consistently between 63-69% and the smokes are great. Some get dry boxed for a couple days in my desk drawer before smoking, but for the most part, the cabinet smokes are very smokable as is. Get a 2nd (3rd..?) hygrometer and monitor the ambient RH / Temp in your storage area. It explained a lot to me....

And.......don't be too concerned about a point or two of RH.....
