Local grapes, local barrels.
It takes about 400 pounds of grapes - and up to 100 pounds of sugar (plus 15-ish gallons of water) for a 50 gallon barrel.

Ya get a bunch of guys together to share work and to share the cost - and then divide it up.

Some of the containers for the finished wine are larger than the others.

Just the natural yeast on the grapes. We didn't add anything.
