So I've had the privilege of being a part of this website for quite some time now. Lately I have not been nearly as active as I would like to be, but I can't help but think about how great of a site this is. No matter what I do around here, I always feel like I should be doing more. Learning more, contributing more, giving more, and even bombing more. I'm not going to make a list or anything, but there are many members on here that have gone way above and beyond to share their generosity. Not just to me, but to my family as well. The blankets that were made-yes, hand made-the outfits we got, the hats, were all so special to us when our girls got here.
The list goes on and on. I've tried to do my best to be a good member of this site and make an attempt to give back even close to what everyone here has given me. Its very humbling to say the least. Cookie, at the BBQ Herf when your daughters came over and gave me the gifts you guys had brought was definitely a moment I'll always remember.
I never really thought that I would openly say this on this site, but at this moment I feel like I really "get it". A term that has been spoken many times around here. Now, I'm not sure what the point is of me freely writing my feelings on the board, I just felt compelled to say something. Its sometime overwhelming when you think about what everyone has given, and you just hope that you have given back enough.
The members of this site are truly brothers. In our world where so many negatives dominate the news and media, its always great to be able to count on this place for some brotherhood. The least I can do is express my thanks.
Rod, this site you have developed and maintained has done so much for so many. YOU ROCK! Swissy, at some point, I want a rematch on the salmon title. Mr Sanchez, you truly are the wine pimp. Devin Cole...the mystery man who's collection has got to be just legendary, thank you for your business, hahah, and for sharing. DDepaola, I love my bat. Xranger, go hug a tree. Smokelaw1 loves jerky and flashlights. Smokyballs...damn dude, take it easy! Mr. Peat....dude, where are you! Tone-NY, silent wise man!! Coventry Cat loves the Drop Kick murphys! Moki.....well...moki is a guido or a hawaiian. I'm not quite sure yet. Ginseng....still got some of the tubos!!! thanks mang! Melski! I know you don't post much, but you are a class act and I can't wait to burn one with you again. Thehatguy...he makes some good bacon on a sunday morning! AVB. the man doesn't like his picture taken, but makes a hell of a marine...and bombs more then the guys one D-Day. Atuck...dude your humidor is rediculous!!! But, there are lots of things to think about, but nothing to worry about!!! CalixEros loves to smoke a nice churchill in front of my house while laying on the top of his truck!!! shooter, you've got to be fucking kidding me!!! bfreeburn...something about a tiarra, never quite figuered that one out...Jackstraw has great taste in music!!!! Gator is an anejo hog....and last but not least Matt R....you pervert.
These are all memories I have developed in my time here and I could easily go on and on. If you've been left out...its the babys fault! hahah, they are crying and I've got to go.
