As we all know, it takes quite a bit logistical coordination, scheduling and preperation to get this baby going. I have had a few PMs already as to the date for next years (2008) QSH. Last year we had well over 85 guests and with all the great sponsorship we gave out over 35 boxes of cigars and not to forget all the humidors and other great prizes. I was checking out the spring schedule and thought that the 23rd of February is about the same time frame we did it last year. I was going to mention the 16th of Feb but that is the Daytona 500 weekend and I'm sure that a number of the S/BOTL will have plans that weekend as well as I will. So post away if you think the 23rd of February is a good date........ :) :thumbs: :cool:

Ms. B.B.S. and I are going to do our very best to make it out to NY this year and attend. Feb 23rd sounds good here; we have some planning to do but I'll confirm for sure in a week or three.... :thumbs:

Would this establishment allow people under 21? If so...sounds like my first HERF is in order.

The date doesn't much matter to me as it will take special arrangements. That said, I'll do my damndest to make it since brother B.B.S. has expressed intention to visit the right coast.

This has been a legendary herf and I'm looking forward to making 2008 my first. I'm happily anticipating meeting and smoking with the fabulous NYC crew once again. Elliot, Anthony, William, Dave, etc. hope to see you all there.

This was a blast last year and the 23rd works for me. I'm in and looking forward to seeing everyone again.

So it sound like the 23rd will be the date. Hopefully I'll see Glynna Schlesinger this evening and lock in the date and then officially post the date...... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Well, I finally got a chance to sit down with Glynna Schlesinger and talk dates for the Herf and she says that the 23rd of Feb is a good date for Quad State Herf 3. So it's official, start your vacation plans now all that have to travel up here and schedule flights, hotels, etc. Before you know it, QSH3 will be here again........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Now, where is my daytimer.....
Good news, the establishment discovered changing the filters. Remember last year you couldn't even taste your cigar? Hopefully that will be fixed. Everyone, please come. I have a few open rooms at the manse here. If that changes, (you know how fluid this kind of situation can be, girlfriends and such) and i have open rooms I will let trusted members know. Payment for lodging will be in the form or cigars.
