This forum is for humidors... figure it fits here!
Alright, I just recently lost my mom and, as per her wishes, she was cremated. Her cremains now reside in a very beautiful cherry box that sits on her old dresser in her bedroom. Very nice. Very classy.
Very expensive box.
So, I was thinking... I think my final disposition will be char-broiled, as well. I've seen quite a few cremain boxes and urns, and I just don't think I want something that... somber. Beautiful, mind you, but it screams, "DEAD PERSON IN HERE!". Why not drop the ashes in a plastic bag into a nice ornate humidor, instead? I imagine that a very nice humidor could be found for less than the price of a funeral urn/box/receptacle. Anyone heard of anything like this? I know that some people do non-traditional things with their cremated remains.
I'm good now, but if I gain much more weight I may need a frigidor, instead...
