Ok, so I open my cooler, looking for a smoke for a freind and I and see the Punch box on top of everything else. So I open it and see the three cigars I have left. The cello is yellow as can be(as they are from 2001) so I figure I'll give 'em a try.

$HIT!!!! No taste whatsoever and it was just a boring smoke. :angry2: I got nothing out of it except for bad breath and a bad attitude. I've decided it's not the smoke for me anymore. I used to like 'em but, maybe the time has passed. ???

I sold off a couple of boxes of these last year and truly hope the buyers are enjoyin' 'em! :) They just ain't worth the space in my cooler. :D

Enough about that. I'll find a nice smoke and improve my attitude. :p

Floyd pitchin' a hizzy. lol.

For the record... I never liked 'em.

Neal, at one point they weren't that bad(possibly not that good either) but for some reason it was almost like smokin' a Garci Y Vega! :( Maybe I've let my taste in smokes get a bit, dare I say Snobish!!! ROFLMAO!!!! :sign:

While still a neewbie to the cigar world, I have definately decided what tastes I like in a smoke and what I don't. :whistling:

I like the Punch Rare Corojos, although this isn't the first negative review I've seen of them. Floyd, if you've got any more I'll trade you for them. I'd hate for them to just sit there unwanted. :p

Eric

I've got a box of the double coronas (6.5x48) from the first year that the rare corojos were re-released (2001??). I also have a box of the rothchilds from last year. I really enjoy the rothchilds and the double coronas are aging fantastically. Really nice smoke.

Sorry to hear it didn't do it for you SKYDIVNEKD. Have to agree with the Dip No 2...it tends to erase all bad memories.

Erik, I'll do some checkin' and if I have any more, I'll let ya know.

I still like them. Corojo in a sumatra wrapper.

A few years, yes, they have mellowed. Not a mind altering smoke anyway.

However they are great for a lunchbreak when work sucks.

when doesnt work suck?

You understand completely.

Crossing my fingers, just had second interview for new position.

Had the Trilogy corojo on the drive home tonight. I've said it before and now I say again. For my tastes the Trilogy is better than the Camacho, which is better than the Punch

Nice woody flavor, smooth finish. Good to the last puff. Okay, hokey shape.

Maybe I just got a good couple of fivers. Or maybe it's just about me. Everything else is :)

Now that I saw this thread, I just checked the Coolerdor. I have a box of Rare Corojo RothChilds from 2001. I am going to have to smoke one or two of them tomorrow to see if I still like them. Man I hope so. ???
