Boy, I better keep right on writing these reviews. It seems that the more I smoke & review, the more I get BOMB'ed
At-any-rate, the Punch/Punch ISOM showed up at my door yesterday and I wasted no time sparking up. Simply put, it was a mighty fine mild cigar. From my understanding, the stick received a 90-something in the reviews.
With a semi-soft packing, ignition was easily granted. The draw was smooth and easy going. Hints of leather were aparent from light up and the cigar produced a nice amount of smoke, holding a great two inch ash that drooped like...oh, never mind. I suspect that some of the mildness of this particular smoke accrued from a good deal of aging.
Frankly, this was a tough one to review. It was so mild and smooth you almost didn't notice that you were smoking it. No funky tastes, no bitterness, and no spice. Just smooth, smooth, smooth with ever-so-white smoke.
For all of you light tongued types, check the Punch/Punch ISOM out. I think it will serve you well.
