Punch and Romeo y Julieta

Surprisingly, due to the collection I have acquired in my humi, I have very little experience with Punch or Romeo y Julieta cigars. I'd like to do something about that and try a few. I prefer medium bodied smokes and right now I need to stay around the $7 or less range. Any recommendations as which ones to try?

The only ones that I like are of the ISOM variety of which I think you can find a few in that price range.

Try a RyJ Reserva Maduro. When I first got started enjoying the art of cigars, that was one of my first sticks. They are medium bodied, creamy, and not spicy at all. I prefer the Toro (6x50); my shop has them for $6/per.

has them for $5.40 a stick.

Punch Rothschild Maduro is my favorite everyday smoke and can be had for about $2/stick.

Punch Rare Corojo is my favorite cigar. They can be had for $3-$8/stick depending on where you get them.

Punch is my favorite cigar brand. In my opinion you get alot of bang for your buck. Great cigars with decent prices.

I'd have to second that as I keep a number of the Champions in humis aging all the time..... :thumbs:

For 5-7 bucks you can buy the Cuban version of both lines. If you are not into buying Cubans I would suggest a couple of other mfgs who put out much better product.

All of these are in my opinion better value and better cigars than the RyJ. The Punch domestics are very similar to the ERDM and JR Ults, being is they are all made by Villazon.
