Preliminaries for NYC Biergarten Summer Herf

Alright guys, I want to do some preliminary work on getting a HERF together in July or early August, on a Saturday, here at the Bohemian Biergarten in NYC. It's outdoors, can seat many 100's and has 12 dollar pitchers.

Basically, I'm looking to find out what date might be good for folks. Apparently, they're doing world cup coverage through July 9th, so we should go with all Saturday's after this in July and early August. There are trees in the biergarten, so shade is not a problem in the July and August heat.

For those who'd be coming from the Northeast, and those who might be in town or want to be in town, let me know what dates would work. Once we get a general consensus, I'll report back with all the official information.

Tommy, I will definitely work on a rain date, I'm thinking if we do a Saturday, that Sunday could be a rain date.

Now I just got to talk to Tom and see how he got all those sponsors the last time.

I'm in as well guys. Now that I'm at new position here at West Point, the only weekend that is not good for me is Aug 26 which is the 5 - 10K Run. Also, starting in September, I have to work all the Army Football games as well. Sean, send me a PM and I'll give you the heads up about getting sponsors for the event....... :thumbs:

The Yanks are in the Bronx, but they're the New York Yankees. Mets in Queens, New York Mets. If it's in the 5 boroughs it's New "Yawk".
