We just received some bundles of the new limited edition PG Symphony 20. These were made by Henrik Kelner and Eladio Diaz for PG's 20th Anniversary. The cigars will not be on the market until 2010, but we were lucky enough to be one of six retailers chosen to receive some pre-release bundles of 20.

There is no blend information regarding these cigars, yet. They have a dark, oily wrapper; almost oscuro. PG lists the blend as, "four complex fillers and a Havana-seed binder." Only one size I know of, the 6 x 52 Connoisseur. Single cigars go for $17 and the pre-release bundle of 20 is $306.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Thanks,
Eric

Just wanted to give the members here a heads up on the PG Symphony. I've had the chance to smoke a couple of them now and I think they are a bit too fresh. I smoked one right off the UPS truck, it was really smooth and had some great flavors but was kind of overpowered by some grassy, bitter flavors you find in some Davidoff cigars. At first I chalked it up to being fresh off the UPS truck, but I smoked another today and the flavors were still there. At the minimum, I think this cigar needs to rest for another couple weeks before the grassy flavors settle down. It's a good cigar, smooth, mild-to-medium bodied with some complex flavors...just a bit fresh.

So I would like to let everyone who ordered these know that they are a bit fresh and probably need to sit for a little while. If you don't mind keeping them in the humidor for a little while you should be fine. Otherwise, we will take the cigars back for a full refund. I'll be sending personal emails to the folks who ordered these shortly. And please don't think I'm saying the PG Symphony is not a good cigar because I really believe that once they have more time to rest they are going to turn into outstanding cigars. I guess only time will tell

Thank you,

I've had the chance to smoke a couple more of these PG Symphony 20 cigars now. Looks like they just needed a little extra rest. I smoked one last weekend and another on Monday; they are perfect. They start with some spice, almost full bodied, and then mellow out a little bit while some sweeter flavors develop.

If anyone is interested in picking any up, go ahead. We still have singles and a couple bundles left. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you,
Eric
