PowerRanger strikes again

A buddy of mine from Malaysia came here to visit tonight -- we went to go play poker at my local shop. Started him off with a Añejo No.49 from 2001 -- he was in love. Next up to "cleanse his palate" was a 2004 Opus X xXx (aka PowerRanger).

We want raising his eyebrows at how spicy it was, but was going on and on about how wonderful the taste was, puffing away until the last inch or so... but then we started to notice he was sweating. A lot. He had a glazed look to his eyes, and was sort of wobbling back and forth.

He actually ended up having to stop playing cards, and go lay down on the couch for a bit. The PowerRanger strikes again... :)

To his credit, after 30-40 minutes, he recovered, and was able to play cards ago, the sweat slowly abating. After an hour or so, he actually had the cojones to spark up a final cigar for the night, a Graycliff Espresso. He enjoyed the aroma, and thought it tasted quite good, but I think his taste buds and brain had already been thoroughly deep-fired by the PowerRanger.

I've never had a fresh one, so I don't believe I've experienced the little bugger's full power. The 99's are nice though.

Give the Malaysian guy an LFD Chisel, followed by a JdN Antano Robusto and report back to me on the contents of what he harfs up.

You're a cruel bastard, Tony... that's what I like about ya...

Sounds outta my league, I got dizzy from an Oliva Bold Maduro Ovation last night. Took a shower and a break for 30 min or so before I felt better.

*goes running at the mention of a JdN Antano*

Sparked up my last power ranger last night on the porch. Made for a nice evening.
Might have to take up a offer from a BOTL for a few more. ;)

Thanks for sharing the story Moki.
Sounds like it was a fun night
I've only had one Power Ranger and the experience was similar to your Buddies :D
