Picked up a couple sticks at the shop today, and tried the Por Larranaga CS Corona (NC). I don't smoke alot of Altadis' domestic product, this one was a pleasant surprise.
Country: Honduras
Wrapper: Habano 2000
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Draw: nice easy draw.
Construction: smooth wrapper, well made, no soft spots but a little give.
Flavor: very woody, not quite cedary though. A little bit of spice.
Finsh: clean, long finish. Straightforward tobacco flavor and a little bit of the woody taste lingers on the palate.
All in all a pretty good smoke, at a decent price (I believe it was about $6). I would have given a bit more detail, but I was smoking it in the car and didn't originally plan on reviewing it. But I thought it was good enough for the mention.
