Poor Kimbo :-))

Kimbo is raw! Even with the year and a half training under his belt he is still just a street fighter. He's trying, but has a long way to go before becoming a legit (top level) fighter.
As for his opponent, I think he got lucky. Any fighter can get caught with a stray punch. If they fought three times, kimbo would probably win two of the three.

I don't think most people would disagree, however, EliteXC is making him out to be better that Fador. He is a street fighter who has so far shown little to no MMA ability. He knocked out an old, punch drunk man in Tank Abbott and the other guy "Atlas" with the fetus for an ear, should have been able to finish Kimbo on the ground.

Also, me thinks the whole Ken Shamrock injury was a scam. I am not sure it wasn't a ploy by Elite and Shamrock's camp to drum up some excitement. Its pure speculation, but it seems a little too convient for my liking.

No way Petruzelli is a good fighter. He might not be what he used to, but to say Kimbo would take 2 out of 3. What has Kimbo really accomplished? He beat a bunch of nobodys on the internet. And he got beat back in the day to a MMA fighter. He has a long way to go to get the respect that he wants. Bas Ruten is a good start but it will take a couple years for him to settle in. If you were to put him into UFC, he wouldn't stand a chance.

I would to have loved seeing Brock Lesnar, hand Kimbo his own ass. Kimbo is an overrated fighter. Simple as that.

Brock Lesnar is another guy thats over hyped. He also needs a good 2 yrs in the gym learning more. His last fight against Heath Hearing showed it. He has great wrestling skills, he showed good control but where was the ground and pound? No punches or short elbows were thrown at all.

Both Kimbo and Lesnar have a great opportunity to establish themselves, I personally think they made the debut's too soon.
