Ok, I'm usually the last person to speak up about such things and you would have to know me to believe it. But at the prompting of some more experienced passers, I've gotta speak up. Here goes... and I'm not pointing my finger at any ONE individual. Please refer to Rule #2 of the 'Rules of a Cigar Pass'.
2.) Once you have received the box in a pass, you may take a few cigars (unless otherwise specified), and replace it with other cigars of equal or greater value. You may not place a lower quality/valued cigar (machine made, etc.) in the pass, unless otherwise specified.
Without being too specific, this rule simply means, take a $10 stick, put a $10 stick. Take a hard to find stick, put a hard to find stick. In my book, any ISOM is hard to find. (see previous note about no credit cards )
I've since come to appreciate Dave's long list of rules for his passes.
