A friend of mine is handmaking pipes and he has a few that I would like to offer to CP before heading out to bid heaven. Plus $5 S/H.


SOLD Pipe 1 - This hand carved freehand pipe is fitted with a slightly bent, vulcanite stem. The pipe is carved from fine quality briar, measures 6 1/4" long and the bowl is 1.5" wide X 2.5" high. The tobacco chamber is 3/4" wide X 2" deep. The pipe comes with a protective pouch. Price --$170.00

Pipe 2 - This hand carved freehand pipe is named "The Ogre". It has a great grain pattern, fitted with a bent, vulcanite stem. The pipe is carved from fine quality Mediterranean briar, measures 6 1/2" long and the oval bowl is 1 3/4" X 2" and 2 7/8" high. The tobacco chamber is 7/8" wide X 2 3/8" deep. Comes with a protective pouch for safe keeping as well. Price -- $195 $145

The pipe is carved from fine quality briar, measures almost 8" long and the sloped bowl is 2 1/2" high at it's highest point with a 2" deep - 7/8" wide tobacco chamber. Complete with a protective pouch for safe keeping as well. The price is $195.00 $145

Those are nice.

Should this maybe go in the retailer forum instead? It's more like a business kind of sale than a private party sale.

Possibly, but I am in no way affiliated with a business and neither is he. He sell's these to local B&M's who eat them up. I suppose I can put this in the retail forum, but I honestly felt this was a bit more appropriate.

Maybe a PM to Rod could clear things up for both of us. This may very well be the place for the post.

Either way they are nice pipes. I'm sure he'll sell them for his asking price.
 
Im not sure how this topic got moved to Retailers, but I got authorization from Rod to post in the BST forum... In any event its legit.
 
Nice looking pipes. It would be nice if possible to show a pic of the bowl so one can see if the drill work is dead center, etc.
 
This is the first time he is selling them. He has his own private stash. I told him to send me pics with a description for each and I may be able to get his first sale.
 
Great looking pipes. Unfortunately I am not currently in the market with a couple I have still to break in...
 
A local B&M has offered to put these in the display for sale.. I will leave this up for 24 more hours. Thanks for the comments, I will make sure to pass them along.
 
Well, finally got one sold.. Thanks guys.. My buddy has decided to drop the price by $50 per pipe for CP only.
