Pipe tobacco pay it forward

Wondering if anyone is interested in a pay it forward for pipe tobacco.

Would not have to be whole tins, just one ounce samples of various types and styles. I know a lot of B&M's carry house blends that would be fun to share.

What say you?

Sounds like an interesting idea, however, don't know how long a PIF would run with the limited number of active pipe smokers. Perhaps we should think of a Pipe Tobacco Pass? That way we could get interested folks to sign up etc? Just a thought??

We brought this idea up last year. Nothing ever happened.


I think 1 or 2 oz bags would be fine. My B&M has a scale there by the bulk pipe tobacco.

Do P&T's just like a box pass. Maybe do one first without rare or high $$$ tins.

Just give people a chance to try different blends from different regions. I think it would be fun! :thumbs:

I have a cigar pass about to launch, so someone else could take this project up if they want to.

I can get this going if no one objects. I don't have a super large stash, but I think I can put together enough to get the ball rolling. I'll start a new thread once I have it figured out and then we'll see where it goes. Give me a day or three if you will.
