Well, it's been a long, hot, humid summer, and with fall upon us, I thought I'd post to see who may be interested in getting together for a few smokes and drinks at Mahogany on Walnut Street in Center City. I can call and reserve some space for us (usually works well on a Friday), so if anyone's game, throw a few dates out there and let's see what sticks.

Hey Phlicker were you ever able to get this together? I am down Mahagony usually a couple of times a month. So I would be down to go sometime. I actually live in your neck of the woods. I am right in upper darby.
 
I live right up the street on walnut. let me know if you guys want to get together.
 
I'll be in Philly around Christmas. I dont know what my schedule will be like with my grandpa in town and the Fianc with me but I'll be stopping in Holts a few times.

Christmas time sounds good to me. Keep me posted. I am only about 20 minutes from Mahagony. I am always up for a smoke with new friends.
 
I'd love to meet you guys, too! We might even run into some herfers from other sites as the holidays bring various people to Holts and Mahogs.

I looked at your profile and see you want to try some Anejos.
Well, since you visit Holts/Mahogany often, you need to get
Holts to show you their holiday goodies, including Anejos,
Ashton VSG/ESG, OpusX and Padron Anni's.

I want to get back to Holts/Mahog once more before Xmas,
or between Xmas and New Year to pick up more goodies.
Unfortunately, when I was there a couple weeks ago they
had a limit of two goodies, TOTAL. NOT two of each goodie,
which was my initial impression. But you can score two each
time you visit, on different days. My buddy let me have his
two, so I got two Anejo Sharks and two #55s, along with a
couple WOAMs. Other Hemi maddies were limited.

My schedule might allow a visit to Holts/Mahog on Dec. 20/21
or after Xmas on the 26-28th. Weekends are out, since I work.

Vortex and I herf regularly.
I'm in So. Jersey. Vortex is in DE.

chemyst(Ken) and I are planning on heading to Holts and Mahogs on Walnut St this Thursday(27th). We will be there by 2 PM.

It was nice to meet up with CabaiguanJuan and Vortex
at Holts/Mahogany today.

Spent some of my Xmas bonus on a Show Stopper
sampler, a couple #48 Anejos and a Hemi Classic Maddie.
Then Vortex gifted CJuan and me a Padilla Obsidian.

Smoked the Hemi maddie and brought the rest home.
Anyone know what Sauza Hornitos is? Those bar maids
at Mahogany are special. :whistling:

Did you guys have tupperdor with you? If so, I saw you...I was sitting with my brother towards the left side of the room. vortex never got back to me so I figured you weren't coming...

And yes...the barmaid that showed up towards the end looked....smart.
 
Oh Man! That was us. Steve had his tupador at the table. And yeah, those barmaids were something :thumbs: Thanks Steve and Ken for a good time. And thanks for the smokes. I'll let y'all know when I'm back up in town because I'd like to meet up again. Hopefully I'll have more time on my hands.
