DON ROBOST SAMPLER
I don't know of anyone named Don RoBoSt, so hopefully I'm not offending anyone out there in internet land by using their name. Now that we have that covered let's get onto todays special offer. This sampler includes 10 great, long-fill premium cigars from Romeo y Juliet, St. Louis Rey, Bolivar and Don Tomas. We'll work our way from right to left today just to confuse things a bit. So, we start with the Don Tomas Clasico in Natural and Maduro. Don Tomas Clasico returns to its classic Honduran roots with new blends that once again use the rich, full-flavored Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos that made the original Don Tomas one of the best Honuran cigars in the world. Next up is the Don Tomas Sun Grown. This puro blend is earthy, with good notes of cedar and spice and finishes with a slight sweetness. The construction, burn, and draw are all excellent. Somewhere in the middle we have a Saint Louis Rey Series G. From the makers of Romeo y Julieta these cigars ar for those who love a full bodied cigar loaded with flavor. They start with Nicaraguan filler tobaccos
and then carefully lay a Nicagaraguan Habano wrapper to complete this little wunder-smoke. It is one tasty, rich and full bodied smoke! Next up is a trio from Romeo y Juliet Habana Reserve. The Romeo y Julieta Habana Reserve cigars bring a full bodied spin to this classic label. This is the first Romeo made in Honduras, and it is made at the famous Flor de Copan Factory in Danli. They use select, aged Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos for the filler and binder. It is topped with a medium dark brown and oily Nicaraguan wrapper. It is a hearty full bodied smoke with deep flavors of leather and coffee with a spicey finish. Last up we come to Bolivar, a Top 25 Cigar in Cigar Aficionado. Bolivar features a Honduran San Agustin Ligero wrapper and the powerhouse Connecticut-grown Havano Medio Tiempo wrapper from the Partagas Black Label brand is used for binder. Filler leaves from the Dominican Republic and from Nicaragua – from Esteli and the volcanic island of Ometepe – complete the blend. Bolivar is a rich and complex medium to full bodied smoke with bold flavors traditionally associated with its famous name. So, lets see the exact sizes that are included here.
