PG in a Diamond Crown Humidifier?

I just got a Diamond Crown humidifier to try out. Can you put a PG solution in these? it doesn't appear so, the directions indicate that I should fill it with distilled, but I wanted to see if anyone has successfully used PG with these units.

I've used mine four years. Never put anything but distilled water in mine and it's worked perfectly.

You're supposed to put nothing but distilled water in those.
