Petit Smokes

I've been on a kick lately of taking a break from work and going for a quick smoke. Anyone else do this?

I've been smoking La Gloria Glorias Petit Maduro cigars. A decent cigar with some strong flavor and I find it very relaxing when work becomes stressful.

Anyone have recommendations for small cigar?

It's a slippery slope I guess. Next thing you know I'll be walking around the office with an unlit cigar in my mouth.

Myself and a group of guys at my workplace get together once a week or so and have a cigar on the smoking deck.
It is a nice way to spend a slow day at the office.

As far as recommendations go, here are a few:
Arturo Fuente - Short Story
C.A.O. Criollo - Pampa
Juan Lopez PC (isom)
Bolivar PC (isom)

JR Ultimate Habanitos are decent. If you buy a box of Ultimates you get a box of Habanitos for $5, and at that price they are a steal. I might not pay full price for them, but if you are looking at some JR Ultimates, go ahead and pick up a box. They do get a lot better with a few months on them

I second the Habanitos-- at 25 for $5 with 6 mos aging they are real nice break/commute sticks. The JR Ultimates aren't a bad yard gar smoke, either. Either way, I just think of it as 50 sticks for about $60, and that's not bad.

Also, the CAO Brazilia Cariocas is a good cigarello size and the Pirahna ain't too big depending on the time you are investing. On the expensive side, I've been stuck on the Davidoff Demi-tasse lately. Excellent short smoke, but the cost is comparable.

LaLuna has their "Colada" size (about 4 X 40-ish) in their LHB and Natural Fuerte blends; maybe others by now. Pretty much a "go to" for me when time is short. The little Monticristo Afrique "Safari" smokes aren't bad, either.

A. Fuente Exquisito Maduro (4.5x33). Surprisingly stout flavor from such a small stick. My fiance loves them.

Anyone ever try Nativos? I got a bundle from cigargold a while back, and I really like 'em. Not the best "looking" cigar, but good flavor, packs a good punch for the size and is less than a buck a stick. I like so well I went for the "buy 4 get 1 free" so I have about 4 boxes of them remaining. They have become my official backyard grilling smoke - great for about 30 minutes of pleasure.

I am intrigued by some of the others that you guys mention below - maybe I'll pick some up to try (particularly the A. Fuente and Punch).

The smaller smokes (generally come in tins) that I have tried and enjoyed are:

CAO Brazilia Cariocas
AVO Puritos
Macanudo Ascots
Zino Platinum Scepter
Leon Jimenez Maduritos

All of these I got off of C-bid for an average of 7 bucks a tin.

Great suggestions here. Thanks.

Got a free tin of Mayorga Coffee infused cigars once and they were sorta interesting but not something I would buy.

They are from the makers of Acid, what do you expect. Of the Acid tins I've tried, only the purple was bearable. Not too much chemical taste (in comparison) but it had the sugar tip which I don't like. But for those that like Acids... they may get the job done.

These are the little cigars I like to smoke when I don't have too much time. But I usually take my sweet time with these as well... they are that good.

So, is whiskey always included, regardless of the amount of time, and you just vary the amount? :D
