If you've got an absolute newbie asking for advice or an 18-year old kid just starting out, or if your wife or SO wants to give a stogie a try, I've found the perfect cigar.
Now, don't get me wrong. I like mild smokes a lot (i.e., Helix, Nat Sherman Host, etc.) But this baby was almost like sucking on 7.5 inches of pure air.
It was the Delicados churchill with the natural wrapper. C-bid shipped it to me by mistake but I kept it just for the heck of it.
Anybody else have some favorite mild cigaars to recommend that don't cost an arm and a leg?

Try Baccarat and also National Brand Sun Grown. Both are extremely mild and tasty and are very inexpensive.

Also the Belinda Cubano Natural, which I had this morning, and is a really nice, mild morning smoke. No bite, no sting, bland, inoffensive.....Hey, maybe this wasn't such a good smoke after all. :(

I totally agree with the Cuesta-Rey comment. I had one last week, and was really looking forward to finally trying one, and was totally let down.

To each his own, though.

I like Montesino for a mild smoke. My wife (non smoker) has had a couple and liked them also.
