Well.... I saw this in Smokers Only's Shop, when I stopped by to check it out and bomb him with a couple ISOMs that found their way home... I am often a fan of the bigger smokes, and it's delectible chocolate shade appealed to the maddie lover in me. Newt thing I know Matt was handing it (an a bunch of others - thanks again bro) and saying "Try these, but you have to tell me what you think." So... I did.... and I am <grin>.

This cigar is described by one word only... Wow. At about 6" x 56-62 I knew I had a treat in store and unlit, the aroma and flavor was great. I punched it, fired it up and the initial flavor was more subtle than I anticipated. As I get used to the fuller-bodied smoke, this caught me off guard, but like a trooper I pressed on. I think the punch was a bit small for the size of the cigar and the first half inch or so took some work to get going. Each draw was a three in one process to restoke it with 2 small puffs and one really excellent draw. The flavor was complex from teh get go and my palate is not really up to the task of dissecting the flavors, but it was excellent. The strength built through almost the entire smoke, so I would say it started mild and finished med-full.

This was defintiely finger burning good (as I did...) and went really well with my glass(es) of Draft Guiness. Must get a couple to take back to Japan...

I can honestly say I have had this problem with nearly every Perdomo cigar I have smoked. In addition, at least 65-70% have been plugged or were just so tight I couldn't get any air through with a vacuum.

It's unfortunate, because most I've had have been loaded with good to great flavor. They're just too much work.
