Well decided to light up my second perdomo. Can't remember my first one but it was a white label. This was a Red label Reserve. The first was a terrible burn,tasted terrible. I was told that Perdomo was really good at their quality control and that I just got a bad stick. So I picked up the Reserve in a Pass. We'll what are the chances of getting two bad sticks? Hated the bland taste,was plugged. This is the first time I had to put a stick out cause it was such a bad smoke. I won't be tring any of these again. Anyone else have bad Prodomo experiances? :angry2:

That's no good that you had trouble with Perdomo. Personally i am a big fan and i am sad to see someone struggle. I know you are sick of Perdomo but i say give it one more try. Try a Perdomo Estate Selction........it was recommended to me by the Perdomo rep and was one of the greatest smokes ive had thus far in my life. But whatever its all subjective.

I posted under another thread that Perdomos just don't do it for me. The only one that I have really enjoyed is the Perdomo Estate Reserve Maduro...nice stick. I have to agree with Drew on that one, though not one of the best smokes of my life. Rather buy other things for the price too. However, I have to give perdomo their props for construction...they do good work. Just wish they made a cigar that I like. Lucky for me, there are 1000s of other cigars out there and it just leaves more perdomos for those that do like them. Just my 0.02.

I smoked a Perdomo reserve (White Label) this past weekend and was very dissapointed. The construction was good and it burned evenly however the taste was very bland. This cigar just didn't do it for me. :angry2:

I liked my red label.... try again man

If you want a good Perdomo off of their reserve line try the Champagne Robusto.....its in the yello cello. It has a light cameroon wrapper but packs a little bit of a punch. Me and my friend the_gurkha liked these cigars very much.

Also like i said before the Estate Celection is very good and so is the EDS. If you want to try other Perdomos go for: The Cigar and the Cuban Parejo....both good cigars in my opinion.

If none of these suit you I am sorry. :thumbs:

Thanks for the recommendation. I have been interested in trying the champagne line of Perdomo for a while now. I will definately pick one up next time i stop by my local shop. Thanks again.

I had anothe Champagne tonight. Not bad but needed to be a little older. Went well with a Remy XO.

I second the opinion on the estate seleccion. Normally I find the red banded reserves to be pretty good in the price/flavor ratio.

The red label are the tastiest. If you got some of the old Reserve Cabinets, they did have an isue of beeing rolled entirely too tight. These you'll want to smoke on the dry side as they are a tight bunch. The champagne's on the other hand are rolled fairly loose, so you'll have plumes of smoke from these. I didn't think they packes a punch, but I could see others w/ that opinion. They are pretty tastey and worth it. The Estate Selection are my favorite of the bunh. Very rich tobacco taste. :love:

They've never done it for me. I've had a couple here and there but I just can't seem to bring myself back to trying them again. It's a shame too. There offices are 5 minutes from where I work.

ok heres the lowdown on the perdomo reserve line
champagne=conn. shade
red=nic triple fermented maduro
white=nic sun grown
silver=cameroon

all are nic binder and filler
in our shop the champagne is the most popular
i love cameroon wrapped cigars but the reserve line of perdomo was disappointing to me

Love these. My favorite is the White followd by a close tie for second are the champagne (gold label) and the silver. I did not care too much for the red which is odd since I love maduros.

I've tried a couple of these, and I like the Cuban Cafe (white label) series the best. Draw was a little tight, but the flavor was outstanding.
