Here goes another review done this Today -
Beverage: Young's Luxury Double Chocolate Stout (Pint)
Venue: My Patio
Prelight: Smooth and supple wrapper, medium oil. Good construction gave just a bit but tight enough to be from a quality roller. Golden tan wrapper.
Experience: Very easy light. Seemed soft as if high humidity but just a damn good roll. A bit of a quick burn at first but leveled off about 1/2 inch in. Pairs well with the Young's LDCS enhancing the cocoa undertones and smooth spices of nutmeg and cinnamon. Very light on the draw with plenty of cotton white smoke and tobacco flavors
Good strong ash 1" in and holding to about 1.5". Smoke turned blue as if someone added coloring, odd but good. Flavor more woodsy with a bit of good earth (yes that's a nod to you Buck fans). Still light but flavorful almost half in but now may be overpowered by the Young's. Not a bad thing but the chocolate is edging through. Picking up a bit of fresh grass and cinnamon. Nice cherry on this; I've put it down several times to let it cool down and it puffs right up with one smooth easy draw. This is NICE! No harsh tones or flavors well into the stick. Still burning great, no runs, etc.
Nice finish, not as smooth as the opening but darn good. I'd smoke this again and have some in the Tower right now.
