What a great cigar!
The Edicion de Silvio was impressive from the get-go. With a beautiful, nearly glowing golden wrapper, I was excited to get this show on the road.
After a monster of a steak at the Metropolitan Grill (you MUST go there if in Seattle), my father-in-law and I took to our home patio for late night smokes. There's something special about smoking a cigar on a clear, crisp night with a full moon. Love it. At-any-rate, back to the review:
Iginition came easily and the burn was perfect from the start. A beautiful buttery taste was present, and the smoke maintained a sweet consistency throughout. In keeping w/ Moki's review, a hint of nuttiness came on about half stick...but soon dissapeared. And popcorn. Yes, that's right. Popcorn!
The smoke of the Edicion de Silvio was amazing. It was phenomenally white in color and very dense. This cigar is to blowing smoke rings what a Ferrari Enzo is to tight, twisty mountain roads. Simply the perfect weapon for the job.
In closing, I very much enjoyed this smoke. It has a little something for everyone; strength, mildness, nuttiness, creaminess, spice, and pocorn. It's all there folks.
**Authors's note: I did not find myself playing like a school boy w/ the de Silvio. You're sick Andrew. Sick**
