Along with tonight's cigar I finished off my fifth of Knobb's Creek bourbon. If you are sick of the high prices that scotch is getting with its current boom you might want to try some Kentucky Straight bourbon. I enjoyed my first fifth of it immensly. If you are a regular bourbon drinker please shoot me a PM or reply to this thread with a reccomendation for my next bottle. I can't sleep the night before a trip; I always lie wide awake trying to figure out what I still need to pack and what I have forgotten. Four to six ounces of a stiff drink usually remedies that though. I am kinda sloppy right now, please pardon my spelling/grammer. I think this review will be shorter than usual.

This cigar is very high on aesthetics. Its wrapper is georgeous slightly oily with almost invisible veins. Although it required a few touchups to the wrapper the filler burned flawlessly. By midway through the cigar you couldn't tell this thing had been box pressed which was wierd. Draw was great, the ash was white with black speckles.
The cigar stayed mostly mild but had a sneaky way of getting me F'd up. It doesn't have a lot of perceiveable body or flavor; but I am certain not all of my buzz right now is from the booze.
To make this cigar I think Perdomo took a beautiful wrapper and filled it 2/3 of the way with superbly burning filler and then box pressed it. The result is a cigar that doesn't burn the beautiful wrapper quite right and doesn't offer a whole lot a flavor. It had no more peppery flavor than the mildest cigars. It immediately let me know when it was burning a bit hot. Draw was great, and the smoke was nice.
This cigar was made to look good and Perdomo accomplished it grandly. If the cigar was uglier I might have been happier, but with such a polished look I expect more. I wouldn't reccommend it.
Look over my other reviews while I am gone; hopefully I can smoke and review another stick on July 8th.
