PARTAGAS LONSDALES SLB 50 Cigars --- FROM: 2000
Size: 42 x 6.5 inches
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I must start by saying these cigars are just spectacular.
The lonsdale was tightly packed, but drew well after I clipped the cap.
The construction good with a thin pale wrapper and without any veins.
Upon lighting up the lonsdale was medium bodied.
I was immediately hit with sweet spicy and flavors of tangy rich tobacco.
After about 2 inches this lonsdale became a powerhouse exploding with strong
flavors of pepper spice, some leather and creamy earthy tobacco.
The 2nd half was all of the same Partagas flavor and was almost overwhelmed
by its powerful yet well balanced profile.
The last 3rd of the cigar became even sweeter adding to the profile hints
of sweet tamarind spicyness and cocoa that coated my tongue and lasted until the end.
The total smoking experience was about 90 minutes and worth every second.
This was definitely the most refiled and complex Partagas cigar I have smoked
in quite a while. A true masterpiece.
