This is my first review on CP. Tonight I lit up a Partagas Black Label Maximo. This was a recommendation from my local cigar shop. The first thing I noticed about this cigar was the super dark wrapper. The initial smell was that of fresh peppercorn and cedar. After I made my cut, I took a pre-light draw. I could taste the spiciness of the dark wrapper. I toasted the end of cigar and took a puff and my mouth filled with a very pleasant smoke. At the beginning I could taste peanuts, cedar, and vanilla. When I was about a third through the cigar I began to get a chocolaty creaminess that was very enjoyable and after two thirds of the cigar the creaminess remained but a deep spiciness began to come through. I found myself dreading the end of the cigar. I smoked this baby to the very end. The construction of the cigar was good. The first two thirds the cigar burned very well. Towards the end the cigar burned a little uneven but I was able to do a little touch up. Overall this cigar was very satisfying and I would highly recommend this smoke. I know I will be picking up a few more of these in the very near feature.
