Part 898 Var

Had the pleasure of smoking one of the last purchases of the IGBC buy today. A Part 898 Var. This is what cuban cigar is supposed to taste like to me. Draw was a bit tight, burn a bit off, but what flavor. The burn was probably due to my smoking in my truck with the window open a bit. Draw might have been better if I had left it in the humidor a while longer, but just couldn't wait. From first puff to last the stick was in your face with flavor. Not harsh, but very full, strong cuban taste and Partagas flavor. Shame I only have 4 more Can't think of a better reason to buy a new box. :thumbs:

have had only one of these...but it was a first class smoke.pretty much as you described it(right down to the burn)...very tasty.

Several years ago, I got a box of 898's and am now down to 4. I had one two weeks ago and it was like a dream smoke. The burn was slow and the ceegar lasted a long time for one that is not extremely large. The flavors were fantastic and it, like all great ceegars, got better and better the longer it was smoked, it was a lip burner.
