This has been in my humi for ages. Got it in a bomb or gift of some sort. Decided to try it out tonight.

I can't find the 1926 line size chart on Padron.com but it looks like the 1964 Torpedo. I'm sure it goes by a number.

It's a natural. It's kind of bland and slightly chemical tasting to tell the truth.

It's actually kind of harsh. It seems to have some of the harshness of a sungrown wrapper but without the sweetness.

Draws great, burns straight, pretty strong in nicotine content, but the natural just kind of leaves me thinking "what if?" Meaning, what if it were maduro?

If it looks anything like a 64 Torp(sharp point), it is a 40th Anniversary. If it had a more rounded, it's a #2.

For future reference, just look here

I loooooooooooove these cigars. Any spares that won't knock your socks off... you got my addy! :)

in spite of the fact that we're talking about one of most, if not THE most, consistent and glorious premium N/C cigars on the market, I had a similar experience with a maduro No. 2 last year.

with as consistent and delicious as these cigars are, Padron makes it easy to take for granted that they aren't completely invulnerable to the occasional* dud.

(* = rare as hell, and you should feel like the gods-of-the-leaf are inflicting some sort of karma-revenge on you) :p

I smoke the 64's and 26's quite often ( a few a week ) and I've never had this problem.

Me neither. Never had a dud yet and don't expect to. PAM Exclusivo is my current favorite.

I kinda agree on this. The natural wrapper on the PANs, is a rough, strong cigar. I would rank it up there with Lito Gomez Natural Chisels. They are storng, and almost to the point to where they can get harsh, depending on how you smoke them. Ask Eric, I came in the Tinderbox after smoking one awhile back, and couldn't stand up lol.

I think you're right on with that assessment. I believe these to be the strongest of the entire 1926 line. I love these sticks

Could this cigar have been aged too long?
I have never been disappointed with any PAN or PAM.
